my wife and show\d up there from washington state meeting friends and all. IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND NICE.my wife and were very impressed on how nice the owners were to us and everyone there. we liked the prices and thought they were very fair due to the fuel prices going on around the country knowing that people are driveing there they made sure evrything was affordable..we are most definatly comeing back there and are informing all our friends to only go there.. thank you all for everything.. This will be my 4th adventure to Sturgis. I ride alone, am a women and yes always concerned for my safety and such. I have stayed at other campgrounds, some nice, some well not what they claimed to be. I like to rest after a day of riding, not easy when others just want to gun bikes and act stupid. Yes, it is about having fun, that does not mean all night long. I like your policies and have heard you are a great campground to stay at. I am looking forward to the wonderful ride to Sturgis, one of many favorites I have. Getting my tent up, getting settled for some good times to remember I am sure. Tom and Family: Web-site is great and I got all the information I needed, We stayed at your campground last August and couldnt have stayed at a better/friendlier place.
We are going to return this August and its great to hear that you have added showers and a bar

Last year we reserved two spots for our 34ft and 28ft toyhaulers and were wondering if the sites were available again? I cant recall the site #s
(As we pulled straight into the camp we were connected to the first power pole to the right about 100 ft into the gate) I would like to reserve them again if possible.

Randy\s hill will always be our hill. Met my future husband there (thanks to Randy M),got married there 2 years later. Randy was the camera guy and is a very close friend to us.

Hi Tom, Deb and Stacy!!
Well, spring isn't too far away and I just got my bike repairs and changes made after the crash on the way to Sturgis last year. All the broken ribs and collar bone healed and I am good as new and looking forward to camp in my spot on the hill this year. hell, I quit smoking, lost some weight and started running to heal-up. All-in all I'm better than I was before the crash--both the bike and I. So, I will be there for sure and thanks for your concern and e-mails. I think missing my week in camp at Tilford was the worst part of the crash. I would never stay anywhere else during the Rally!!!! See you in August and have a great spring and early summer. God Bless

He everyone it's almost that time. Me and my girl Tara can't wait until the rally.......Tilford is the only place we camp. Best darn tootin campsite in the world.
This year I've talked my sister into going. We're coming from St. Paul Minnesota and along the way we're gonna pick up my partner in crime who lives in Brandon South Dakota. We camp up top. Where we like it (lol). Anyhow, it'll just be us three beautiful ladies kickin it. Come up for a Captin if you'd like. We'll be in the tent that the size of a house. Whoowhoo, can't dam wait.
We come for the Party.
May need a ride or two or three if anyone would have an open seat or two or three... See you all in a couple weeks.

the camp was very clean and the people super nice even Mark , the DJ deserve a raise the food was very good and the ribs were outstanding .

friendly, Cindy now refuses to camp anywhere else except Tilford Gulch, when we

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay with you during
Rally Week. This was the first time that weıve stayed at the Tilford Gulch
Campground, but Iım sure it wonıt be the last. It was quiet, clean, centrally
located, and affordable. All of that, combined with your hospitality, made for

Hi Tom and Deb and Kids, Well, itıs time to come home to Tilford Gulch for
another year. Iım bringing two new people this year and they will make Tilford
Gulch their Sturgis home from now on as well. The best part of the Rally is
sitting on "MY" hill in the morning and evening and talking with the Carters
down at the snack bar. I would NEVER stay anyplace else during the rally. See
you next week. I hope you changed "Randyıs Hill" to "Marcısı Hill." We love
Tilford Gulch and talk about it all yearMarc Higgins, Dave and the rest of the
Rat Pack. Oh, I got 8-10 people to come this year.

Hi Tom, Deb and StacyWell, another rally came and went. I just wanted to thank
you all for making us feel so welcome and at home at Tilford. Weıll be back to
our normal 8 day stay next year, so weıll have time to hunker in camp all day.
You know, thinking about sitting on the hill and lookig at the stars in "Randy
Land" gets me through some cold winter days.

You know, I just don\t get it. Last year I wrote to inform everyone not to come
to The Gulch, and no one listened. I\ve been camping at Tilford since about
1989, and the Gulch just ain\t the same! Don\t you people listen? Gone are the
days of the small, cramped showers, with several shielded outdoor stalls. The
out houses aren\t smelly, and there are even flush toilets! When you wake in the
morning, the smell of the free cup \o joe guides you to the mess tent for
breakfast. Jeez, I haven\t brought my camp stove in years! See how things have
changed! Now, instead of having to remember to stop at the liquor store for your
favorite brew to re-cap your day with your friends, hell, the beer is already
there! What\s up with that? And when it rains and the hail comes, there is a
steel roof over the mess tent/beer garden. Hell, we used to stay in our flooded,
shredded tents, unprotected, and we liked it! See how things have changed! You
really won\t like the 24/7 gate survellance to keep your stuff safe, either. I\m
telling you, stay away! Another thing, Part of the camping experience is dirt
and dust. There\s nothing like having to constantly clean the dust off of your
ride, is there? These people at the Gulch have a water truck to water the access
trails all over the grounds, in order to keep the dust in check on thos very
hot, dry days. One more reason to stay away, if you ask me. Please heed my
warning! I want the site to myself! Go to Hog Heaven instead!

Hey Tom, Deb and Stacy, It\s May 13th today and that means three months from
today I\ll be in Camp my "home-away-from home." The Rat Pack has been talking
about camp more and more everyday and like always it got me through the winter
and the crappy Spring we\re having in Minnesota. We\ll be there Friday before
the Ralley and stay all week. I can hardly wait to sit on my hill early in the
morning and late at night and look at the stars. I would NEVER think of camping
anywhere but Tilford. For any of the ladies who are making their first trip to
Sturgis, we\ve been a millions times and old "Tilford Camp Rats," so Brother
Dick and I can show you around!! Ask Tom to show you Marc\s spot and pitch your

If you\re looking for a place to camp during the Rally, and you\ve never camped
at Tilford Gulch, you are missing a great place to stay. You can sleep, relax
and Tom Carter is one of the greatest guys around. Deb and Stacy are wonderful
too. Stacy\s Spagetti in the snack bar is AWESOME. It\s not just a campground,
it feels like home for a week
